Oh, maybe I should explain. Logan came in first in the Turbo Javelin and third in the 100m Dash events. Who knew that he was going to do so well… especially since it was something I just found out that he was competing in a week ago. His team, the Magnolia Magic, and his coach, Patty, are a great group of people who have been working with him to get him more involved in the competitions. I was very excited to see him compete and win in his events.

As some of you may recall, my nephew participated in the Special Olympic Autumn Bowling Classic last November. I just found out that he will be participating in the 24th Special Olympics Invitational (Area 4 & 6) this Saturday. This event is a track meet that is being sponsored by The Woodlands Kiwanas. Logan is participating in two events, the Turbo Javelin and the 100m Dash. I will be out there with camera hoping to capture the excitement and joy these games brings to the athletes.
