I have always been involved in charitable work. From before when I worked in the corporate world to now as a photographer, I feel that helping others is a worthy thing to do. So when I was informed that my nephew, who has autism, was invited to compete in the Special Olympics Texas 2007 Area 6 Bowling Competition, I jumped in the car and drove to the bowling alley. Below are just a few pictures of him and his fellow competitors that I had the honor to capture during their competition.

As with all Olympic events they had the presentation of the flag and the torch bearer. We had the honor to have a young man who is currently serving in Iraq but was on leave present the flag for the Nation Anthem.
